So... how did you two meet?

One Ann Arbor winter night, Iman got home late—even by college student standards—reached for her keys, and came up empty. She pulled out her phone to call her roommate, only to realize it was dead. Panicking, she ran back to campus in search of anyone with a charger.
Just as she was about to give up and sleep in the Michigan Union, she spotted a semi-familiar face: Ibrahim, her fellow EECS teaching assistant, heading to the bus after a long night of studying. Throwing first-interaction etiquette out the window, she frantically asked him for help.
He came to her rescue right away and has been doing so ever since, whether it be with a charger, a late-night dessert run, or a joke only she would find funny. It was in those little moments that something bigger began to take shape. Alhamdullilah, what began as a late-night favor grew into a friendship, a marriage, and a lifetime of love and laughter.
